Before and After

The year 2008 has been one memorable year for me. It has been a humbling experience and I have learnt a lot from it. Instead of crapping on and on like this, I'll just list it out. Enjoy =D

I shall list this in a chronological manner:
1. Studied new subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology
2. My first time going CNY visiting to friends house. (we run away from the city every Chinese New Year since we moved to Kuching...except last year)
3. Organised my 16th birthday party
4. Drank wine for the first time
5. Danced with my very insane cousins
I shall now fast forward cos I don't remember what happened after June all the way to November.
6. Spent nearly a month in KL
7. Had the best New Year party ever (I'm talking from experience)
8. Finding out that someone thought I was getting married (pure misunderstanding..seriously)
9. Heard the lamest thing said by Hannah for that year. She actually asked me what time I was going back while I was in my own house! rofl
And finally....
10. Got dozens of chocolate as Christmas gifts. Sometimes I feel its not so personal cos its like a sure-like kind of gift. But then again, I LOVE CHOCOLATES! So keep 'em coming!
Signing out,
2009 better be a good year...or else....

New Year's Eve Party!!

We had a small turned large party on the 31st. I'm too lazy to explain the atmosphere so I'll just do it using captions =D
The insane group
From left to right: Yee Teng, Hannah niece and me aunty..
Location: The hall in my house

CAKE!!!! It says (said) Happy New Year, if you're asking.

After midnight (at 2, for heaven's sake) my cousin came to our place to collect her car. Then we ended up drinking wine. It contains alcohol, mind you. And no, I did not get drunk!
Signing out,

That mug weighs over a tonne. Its supposed to be a beer mug, by the way.
Location: Royal Selangor Pewter Factory. Admission is free!! =D

Me standing on a pier.
Location: Malacca. The beach is just a walking distance from the place we were staying. When the tide comes in, the waves actually come right up to the front gate of the houses nearby. Try immagine a tsunami.

One of Malacca's famous local delicacies. Chicken Rice Balls! Those are rice balls and they remind me of Walls Mini Poppers =)
Location: Jongker Street, Malacca

This is actually a dam. Gorgeous, right?
Location: On the way to Fraser's Hill.

This dog guards the rest house of the Sultan of Selangor. I know what you're thinking. Sultan? Dog? Okay..okay.. It belongs to the caretaker of the house. Ain't it cute? Notice that the picture is sideways. Doesn't it just make life sooo interesting?
Location: Sultan's rest house, Fraser's Hill

See the black thing? That's a bird. A species of hummingbird to be precise.
Location: Fraser's. The Sultan's backyard.

OHEMGEE!! Raspberries! Sadly, these aren't ripe yet.
Location: Fraser's. Sultan's garden.
