Thought I could wake up late on Saturday.
Then catch a movie and then go eat dinner.
That, was Plan A.
But, God had other plans.
Well, not really 'other' plans.
Just a plan to wake me up at 6 am.
Maryann, Vianney, Adeline, Debbie, Gurprit, myself and a few others were chosen to go to a public forum held in the Islamic Information Centre.
The topic discussed was "Faith and Sustainability".
Cool topic, great presentation and surprisingly, a good lunch.
Even if lunch was just chicken rice.
I would give it an award for "Best Packed Food given after a Forum".
The centre was beautiful.
And I don't give compliments easily.
Or do I?
Anyway, there was a wall thingy and water came cascading down. Like a waterfall except less natural and more man-made elements.
There was also another water feature at both sides of the grand entrance.
We all thought the submerged tap was a fish.
In our defense, the tap was red. Bright red.
And this is us (minus Vianney and Gurprit).
After that, I rushed home to get ready to watch Transformers.
Maxine bought tickets already so we (Lippy and I) didn't have to suffer a major disappointment.
And she was ever so kind to pick a nice seat right at the back.
Ahh..bliss..
The movie started and when Megan Fox first appears on screen, I could swear the row of boys in front of us sat up straighter.
Boys..sigh..
After a mind-blowing, butt-cramping 2 hours plus, we walked out of the hall only to find Emily and Andrea buying tickets for Transformers at 7.45pm.
Maxine, Lippy and I hitched a ride with Andrea and she drove us to Sarawak Plaza where we went straight to Hartz Chicken.
No wait. We walked around aimlessly for an hour, THEN went to Hartz.
Still no one.
Finally, we decided friends can wait but our stomachs can't.
But before we knew it, more people came. People we knew, of course.
Eating with friends is something we should do often.
When we eat, we talk (after we swallow, of course).
And when we talk, we bond.
And when we bond, we uncover things we never really knew about each other.
Even after 5 years.
We even find out things like Sarsi tastes horrible with ice-cream. Which means its make a bad float.
After a wonderful time eating and bonding, we decided to walk to Tun Jugah to, well, bond again.
*Stops at Sony Centre*
*Reaches out to touch notebook only to feel the cold glass outside.*
*Looks at television inside*
It showed Olympic ice-skaters twirling, doing Figure 8's, pirouettes.
*Looks at ice-skaters*
I will make sure my kids learn how to ice-skate.
And swim.
Yes, and swim.
Oh, ballet too.
Or gymnastics.
Or both.
Yeah.
And we'll stay near Sunway Pyramid.
Yeah..
*Reaches out to 'touch' notebook again.*
Okay, snap out of it.
*Starts walking to Popular bookstore pretending nothing happened*

Time flies too fast.
Signing out,
Time-travelling?
