Guilty of plagiarism. Title only.

Exams looming and people are starting to look for ways to chill.

As for our class, the 'chilling' process is a lot more complicated.

I shan't explain how as I am sure someone would do that soon.

But what I shall post up is this:

Its not clear. Sigh.. How?

First portion says: How much I have to study. Then: How much people think I studied, How much I actually studied, How much I remember for a minute, Actually remember and Sesame Street songs from the early 90's.

When life strikes..

Thought I could wake up late on Saturday.
Then catch a movie and then go eat dinner.
That, was Plan A.
But, God had other plans.
Well, not really 'other' plans.
Just a plan to wake me up at 6 am.
Maryann, Vianney, Adeline, Debbie, Gurprit, myself and a few others were chosen to go to a public forum held in the Islamic Information Centre.

The topic discussed was "Faith and Sustainability".

Cool topic, great presentation and surprisingly, a good lunch.

Even if lunch was just chicken rice.

I would give it an award for "Best Packed Food given after a Forum".

The centre was beautiful.
And I don't give compliments easily.
Or do I?

Anyway, there was a wall thingy and water came cascading down. Like a waterfall except less natural and more man-made elements.

There was also another water feature at both sides of the grand entrance.

We all thought the submerged tap was a fish.

In our defense, the tap was red. Bright red.

And this is us (minus Vianney and Gurprit).

After that, I rushed home to get ready to watch Transformers.

Maxine bought tickets already so we (Lippy and I) didn't have to suffer a major disappointment.

And she was ever so kind to pick a nice seat right at the back.

Ahh..bliss..

The movie started and when Megan Fox first appears on screen, I could swear the row of boys in front of us sat up straighter.
Boys..sigh..

After a mind-blowing, butt-cramping 2 hours plus, we walked out of the hall only to find Emily and Andrea buying tickets for Transformers at 7.45pm.

Maxine, Lippy and I hitched a ride with Andrea and she drove us to Sarawak Plaza where we went straight to Hartz Chicken.

No wait. We walked around aimlessly for an hour, THEN went to Hartz.

Still no one.

Finally, we decided friends can wait but our stomachs can't.
But before we knew it, more people came. People we knew, of course.

Eating with friends is something we should do often.
When we eat, we talk (after we swallow, of course).
And when we talk, we bond.
And when we bond, we uncover things we never really knew about each other.

Even after 5 years.

We even find out things like Sarsi tastes horrible with ice-cream. Which means its make a bad float.

After a wonderful time eating and bonding, we decided to walk to Tun Jugah to, well, bond again.

*Stops at Sony Centre*

*Reaches out to touch notebook only to feel the cold glass outside.*

*Looks at television inside*

It showed Olympic ice-skaters twirling, doing Figure 8's, pirouettes.

*Looks at ice-skaters*

I will make sure my kids learn how to ice-skate.

And swim.

Yes, and swim.

Oh, ballet too.

Or gymnastics.

Or both.

Yeah.

And we'll stay near Sunway Pyramid.

Yeah..

*Reaches out to 'touch' notebook again.*

Okay, snap out of it.

*Starts walking to Popular bookstore pretending nothing happened*

Time flies too fast.

Martin Luther once said...

So we started a new chapter in Biology called Inheritance.
And today, we did Mendel's Second Law.
Since there was time, we proceeded with the subtopic of "Inheritance of ABO Blood Group System".
Then teacher took an example of a girl whose blood type is O.
Her mother's is A and her father O.
Question was: What is the genotype of the mother?
After that question was answered and all misconceptions cleared, she told us we could check our blood type.
How?
Since she didn't have a proper 'blood-extraction-thingy', she said:
"Just use a pin and prick your finger. It won't hurt a bit."
"Or maybe I would suggest using your nails to pick out the skin bit by bit till you see blood".
So everyone did it.
I did it too.
I was afraid to use the pin because I thought it's unsanitary.
So I sanitised my hands and attempted to skin myself. Literaly.
OMG, it hurt so bad.
I couldn't continue.
My finger was throbbing.

Suddenly I woke up.
My finger was still throbbing.
Signing out,
I have a dream..
Ps: If you're still blur, let me clear it up. We did do Bio today and we did study about ABO blood group. The part where I started dreaming was: .....she told us we could check our blood type...
Pss: No, I wasn't sleeping in class. I came home. Too tired. Fell asleep on couch.

Disguises

I just had to fall sick on Monday night.
But I consider it a blessing in disguise.
And the story goes like this (it's a little embellished because it happened nearly 4 days ago):
Tuesday night.
Had to replace Chemistry because I didn't make it on Monday.
And because I had to sit for the wretched exam. Or test. Or pop quiz. Whichever.
I finished about half an hour earlier.
So I just sat in class, twiddling my thumbs and wondering "What are my friends doing downstairs?"
Yes, they were downstairs in Physics.
The class I was supposed to go on Tuesday (I blame you, rain!)
On the way home, I texted Emily.
"What did you do in Physics just now?"
"Oh, we did transformer."
"Did you receive the test results?"
"No lah. He said do transformer first. Btw, NS list come out liao. Me, Bol and Drea didn't get."
My heart stopped.
Crap.
"How to check?"
"*forwards text message*"
"Thanks."
So I painstakingly typed in my IC number and waited.
And waited.
And waited.
While waiting, I started contemplating.
If I don't get, learn mandarin. Will look good on resume'.
If I get? Not so bad actually. 1 month practical, 1 month study and no exams, 1 month charity work.
Not bad.
Get allowance too.
Food and lodging provided.
Besides, two weeks break if you (girls only) get their monthly ermm, that.
When else can I get this opportunity?
But if don't get better.
*Phone vibrates*
Sh_t.
Signing out,
flood, please!!
Ps: Blessing in disguise because I didn't have to face scutiny in tuition.
Pss: My mum considers getting it a blessing in disguise too. But in the words of my sister: "That is one ugly disguise".
