Monkey See, Monkey Do

I was busy writting my English essay when I heard Debbie's muffled laughter. I looked up and my eyes caught some movement. There it was. A brown monkey playing with a dried leaf. It was definietely an 'aww' moment. For some time, I couldn't concentrate on my essay. The monkey caught my attention and it didn't let go. I wonder whether if its presence is a good omen, but I suppose it is since we fifth formers posses since most of us are born in the year of

the Monkey. Maybe its attracted to the 'monkey-ness' we all (well, most of us) have.

Any great ideas for a name?

Help, anyone?

Contradicting to the poem Life's a Brief Candle (Shakespeare), tomorrow does not 'creeps from the petty pace'. In fact, it zooms right on and before you know it, SMACK right in the middle of nowhere. Okay, I'm ranting. Sue me.

Tomorrow? Exams.. Sigh.. Biology and English.

My very elaborate diagram about circulatory system

Ain't it purrrdy??

So proud of my diagram. I can now put the Stabilo 3.8 whatcha-ma-call-it pen to the test. Does it help me to remember stuff or not??

Any words of encouragement?

Report

First Annual General Meeting 2009
@-the-back CLUB
The @-the-back-CLUB was establish one fine morning in February 2009. Every free period, the club will organise a meeting. This time, the meeting was organised on the 25th February 2009.
This was the first official meeting. The meeting was held in class 5 Science 1 at 12.45 pm. 5 active members and 1 temporary member attended the meeting. The meeting this time was to highlight the objectives of the club as well as to introduce the president and vice-president of the club. The committee members are as follows:
President: Alexis Cara Chong (apparently, she didn't know until today)
Vice-President: Andrea Lau
The rest of the committee members shall be decided later. However, due to the lack of members, it is advisable not to have too many committees or else there won't be any members.
Members of the club were asked to flash their membership cards. It was informed earlier that any more than a flash would result in an expulsion.
Among the objectives of the group is to be nice during this wonderful season of Lent. All members were reminded to be kind, nice and forgiving (ahem..ahem..). By the way, this also includes back-stabbing =D. Apart from that, all members were asked to spread the news that Andrea Lau does exist and she is very famous and those who do not know her are kampung people who live under a cave. They will also be condemmed to the fiery pits. All members were also reminded not to insult others. This includes name, hairstlye, abilities and colour (another ahem..ahem..).
The meeting was adjourned because assembly was over and the afternoon session needs the class. The club would like to thank all members who attended this meeting.
