Necessary Evil

Before the public speaking audition, Pn Euphrasia told us that there would be a fire drill and our rendezvous point was in the field.
As normal students, we went "Oh, great" *note: sarcasm*.

So we went on with our auditions.

Shortly after all of us were done, Miss Susie and Pn Euphrasia left us a lone in the Music Room. Leaving 10 very vocal students in an air-conditioned room alone was not really a good idea.

We all wanted to be heard by our peers and at the same time, our peers wanted to be heard.

*jabber-jabber-yak-yak-bla-bla-occasional OMG!*

Sometime during our 'discussion', the fire alarm rang.

No, not the usual "krrriiinnngg"

But "bbbeeeeeee".

Weird? No. It helps us differentiate between the 'end-of-the-period' bell and of course, the fire alarm bell. Ah, the joys of school.

And it being our last fire drill in school, we decided to capture the moment.

See! We even managed to pose since we're so near to the field and the 'herd' of students have yet to arrive. Darn, I'm like, the odd one out.

The firemen also taught those listening how to put out a fire using the ABC fire extinguisher.

See! I was listening!

But before you use the fire extinguisher, one obviously must light a fire. Sadly, the fire made was more smoke than fire. Which means more carbon atoms (I also listen during Chem =D).

We all asked Miss Susie this: Why are we contributing to global warming?

Her answer: Well, it's a necessary evil.

16, 17, 18

Date: 16 May
Age: 17
Table number: 18

Cute, no?

Main course: Pizza. One large Big Shot Prawn Pizza and one large peperoni. Both stuffed crust. Emily nearly flipped and accused us of sabotaging her diet. Sorry, Mily.

Dessert: CAKE!! Omg, I can't believed you peeps planned that! *touched* Seriously, a cake to Pizza Hut and it's cheese! We made so much of noise (they even sang and the other customers looked at us. Thank goodness no one took a picture of my shocked face. I bet I looked, well, shocked.)

After that, Andrea suggested we relocate to Hilton. Yeah, Paris Hilton- heir of Hilton Hotels. Oh, speaking of heirs, ahem.. Never mind then. And being kuai people, we ordered non-alcoholic drinks. But I suspect that the Virgin Manhattan contains something I can't put my finger on. But hey, none of us got drunk. *I shwear..*

This birthday would definitely be a memorable one. If I forget this day, you can start assuming I have Alzheimer's or I'm senile or something. That will be the day. But till then,
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

Being In Form 5 doesn't necessarily make you 17.
Being 17 doesn't necessarily make you mature.
Being mature doesn't mean you are old.
Being old doesn't make you wise.
Being wise doesn't make you less gullible.
