A New Addition

There is now a new addition to our small family of 'Computer Appliances'. Please put your hands together to welcome:

In case you don't know what it is, it's a printer/photocopier/scanner or a 'three-in-one'. Hmmm.. Sweet Memory now has one less customer bothering them to photocopy stuff.. Besides, the way some of the people working there treat the customers like as if they are the boss or they show the "I'm-very-satisfied-with-my-meagre-earnings-so-leave-me-alone" face. Puh-leez lar.. The most you can eat out of your paycheck is Maggi for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. In fact, as customers, we're the ones paying for your stupid Maggi so you won't starve to death. The least you could do is appreciate us and do the work without complaining.

This happened just a few months ago in Sweet Memory. I overheard a customer looking for tracing paper. She just happens to have braces and can't talk very clearly in them.

Customer: Ex-th-kyoth me, where do you put the twacing paper?

Ungrateful b*****: Hah?! Sik paham lah!

Customer: *repeats her request but slower*

U.B: Oh... *turns to look for the item and asks her colleague* Eh, ne 'twacing' paper tok?

*Laughs very loud eventhough the customer is right at the back of her and can hear everything*

What is the world coming to?! *snaps back to reality* Eh, how on earth did I jump to this topic?
