Just moments ago..
It's the eve of another one of the many celebrations Malaysians celebrate. Yes, I'm talking about Deepavali. Or some say Diwali. Whatever it may be called, it is customary that the family gets together, eat and play poker.
As the years progressed and everyone's much older now, we find it a little hard to satisfy everyone. Especially in terms of choice of food. One vegetarian, one with seafood allergies and I'm pretty sure one has developed an expensive palate. Hence preparation is rather time consuming to assemble a feast to satisfy everyone.
So recently, my cousins and I were jokingly saying "Let's do something different this year". The plan? Order in pizza for the eve and dim sum for breakfast the next day. Wouldn't that be superfreakingawesome?! Imagine that. An Indian family eating dim sum on Diwali morning. Sounds like an awesome plan, no?
Of course we're not going to do this. But we might do it one day. In the mean time, I'm going to start planning for Christmas since I'm finally celebrating it in Kuching. -EXCITED!-

Ps: Remember I said I was preparing for IELTS? I got my results recently. 8.0 :) Praise God
